Recently someone at work was promoted. They have become the absolute worse micromanager. They won't let you have a single word in without arguing it and always starts it with “actually” every time. You don't even have to be talking to them.
Every time I try to help someone they have to butt in despite my information being correct. Even if it was from they higher up, they argue if they actually said that then goes and makes sure themselves.
It's getting to the point half the team is ready to bail. We were all hired on with backlog to work on on top of recent stuff in a highly competitive field. We are all looking for other jobs.
I really don't want to quit as I like the job itself and what it consists of however this person is extremely uncooperative and overbearing in every unnecessary sense.
