I left my job Friday. They were sad my last day. Meanwhile, I already forgot most of my coworkers names.

I was on a contract with a tech company. They screwed me over by telling me it was contract to hire, only for me to learn it never was hire and was just contract. I busted my butt for them and got a performance award as a contractor. They also had me training their permanent employees. My supervisor let me know they couldn't keep me in January and I was pissed, but didn't let it impact my work. This past Friday was my last day. This past Friday was my last day. Everyone was sad on my goodbye call and I got so many teams messages of people saying they were sad I was leaving. A couple were tearing up.

I sent a note to them thanking them for giving me the opportunity to work there.

Afterward, I logged off right after the goodbye call, ran to the casino and won $650 on the crazy rich asians slot machine. I also file for unemployment tomorrow since I was on a w-2 contract.

I told them to stay in touch, but I already forgot all their names. Goodbye random coworker number 10. Goodbye outsourced employee number 52. Gone and already forgotten.
