Vent:
I got paid 03/24, noticed 2 hours of Overtime that I did not put down on my time sheet. Told my manager and manager says that overtime was supposed to go to another employee not me. Ok cool so I’ll expecting money being deducted from my next pay check to cover the overtime I got on accident, it was only $63.00. The next day I see my PTO affected I contact the main office to address it and they fixedit. The next morning when checking my bank account, I notice $500 missing from my Student Loan Savings that I have set up from my direct deposit to go in there. I contact my bank and they confirm my employer did a reversal and took $500 along with giving me a $12 NSF for the reversal. I contact my main office they acknowledge and “sorry don’t know what happened but you should get reimbursed Tuesday for the matter”. Monday morning (yesterday) I get an email of banking error “insufficient funds and no deposit will be made until banking information is updated” I’m supposed to get paid the next day 04/03 not 04/02 in the amount of $512 they took from me including the NSF fee and to recheck my bank info. Nothing has changed on my end. I tell my main office this. They confirm just wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow (Today) I get paid $1,300. Wait what?!? They only owed me $512. I email main office before opening and wait until 12 to call them to give them time to acknowledge my email. I call and they say “oh you’re all good and the $1300 is what we owed you so don’t worry about it”, I said NO you overpaid me again and I’m not touching this money because they’ll end up finding out later and making me pay back the overpayment of $800. I go back and forth with them all day for them to tell me it’s fine keep the money to wait I’m sorry we’ll need to reconcile $800 since we overpaid. Then I get a call 45 minutes later to just keep it.
Btw i get paid this Friday but they ran payroll to reimburse me what they took but ending up overpaying me once again. So uncertain if I’ll even get paid the full amount on Friday. Just a long vent thank you for reading.
