I worked for a company the first month after they opened for about 3 years, then COVID hit people were getting sick work was slowing down and I wasn't getting paid as much, I took a year off when my job offered it to me for COVID. Fast forward a year and they call me back and ask me to work for them again, I say yes but when I get back after a year of working they told me I lost all previous time I worked for them so I had to restart. That meant less vacation time, less benefits , less pay on any bonuses . Is it legal?
