Sheer stupidity

My company has just gone through the process of training 3 classes of new hires that all had about 30 people in them for virtual work. They got them in, trained, and working and we had near full retention. Our numbers have improved significantly and we have increased alot of of our customer satisfaction because we have simply had better processing . Today they are saying all of those 90 some odd people need to be in office by next week. Many of them are over 100 miles from their nearest office. Over half have already quit. I'm assuming, and they absolutely should, the rest will be gone shortly. Not back to square one, we are in the negitives. This is the stupidest shit I've ever seen.
