I work for a Fortune 500 company. The store I work in generates millions of dollars of revenue every month, and it’s one of a few hundred stores like it. Last year the corporation turned 997 million in net income, with over 15 billion in total revenue. This morning I received an email titled “GoFund Me for Team members in need”. There are multiple heartbreaking stories of cancer, suicide and other very real issues being faced by human beings who work for this company. They have been reduced to essentially begging for help with medical, funeral and living expenses. Fuck capitalism, fuck corporations and especially fuck the people at the top who let this happen on a daily basis because their own pockets are being lined beyond the average persons wildest dream. Eat the rich.
