Didn’t get a job after 6 interviews spanning 1.5 months

They led me on. The second time meeting the man that would be my supervisor informed me I basically had the job, I just had to meet with the head of HR as a formality/out of courtesy (I would be working with HR but not in an HR role). It took two weeks to finally schedule a meeting with her and it was radio silence for a week. I followed up yesterday and today they informed me I was no longer a candidate, followed by “hope you have a great day!” LOL What’s worse: late last week, I noticed a former classmate announce on her LinkedIn she would be working at this company in the same position but as a freelancer, where I would have been full time. Pretty sure she announced she had my job before the company informed me I was no longer a candidate. I had stopped…

I had stopped looking for jobs because I was guaranteed this one. Guess it’s back to Square One again. What’s funny is I would have been helping this company recruit people, as they currently have over 1,000 job openings. Can understand why after this…
