A buddy of mine 4 days ago told me that he found a new job at a warehouse, today he tells me that he's been fired. The reason for it? “Not as good as the others who've been working there for 10 years”, when he tried explaining that he's working hard to reach that level they told him “they see no improvement”. I'm so confused as to what kind of performance they were expecting in less than a week of starting a new job? It's also not like he had no experience in working at warehouses, at his previous job he was considered one of the best workers. This whole situation is so ridiculous to me. I just wanted to vent how stupid I think this is, thank you for reading.
