Hey all,
More than half of our current staff has walked out of the company I am at because our executive is awful. Yesterday, her assistant texted at 7pm to set up panel interviews for PT staff who are going to be doing customer service. The pay is low and does not require a particularly skilled person to do the job, just a good attitude and a willingness to show up.
I found out today our supervisor is making these people go through three rounds of interviews, including two panel interviews. I am looking at a 12-question outline including that all the directors will be introducing themselves and providing context about our departments (most of our departments had turnover and now only consist of one person).
This absolutely boils my blood. What am I supposed to say? Oh, the person I was hired to manage had a nervous breakdown and then was fired for insubordination after having enough of the boss? Half of our staff quit within two weeks after a longterm and well-loved executive was fired? That the boss has her accountant and executive assistant running the retail operation because we are so understaffed and it is their fault?
Anyways. Ugh, what a shitstorm. I hate this country and how we hire. Fuck this place.
