I have a doctors order, work doesn’t want to follow it. Help?

Hey all. Last time I posted here it was not well received. I was being goofy and not anti work. Also if this is a wrong place and you can redirect me, please do. Now here's the thing, I DO love my job. This is the best job I've ever had, and this is my longest so far- 2 years next month. I started as a temp and they hired me even with all my bullshit. I'm ADHD and I've had more jobs than years on this earth. I cannot stress how wonderful this job is. Still a low wage but as an ADHD person its been the first job I've felt secure in and not hatred or rage quit. ANYWAY on to my dilemma. I was hit by a car in 2017 and my hip is fucked.

I need a stand up desk. 3 years ago I worked at wayfair and they required a doctors note for the stand up desk.

Current employer does not need a note for stand up desk – cool. They just give you one if you ask.

But there's a second note!!!!!!!! My second doctor's order was that I am allowed to stand on my longboard (long skateboard, more stable, more flexible). I am allowed this device because of my anxiety, adhd and my hip. It helps the hip bc I'm not on concrete and my body can balance and be the way it needs to but most importantly— my STIMMING. I am a leg mover and shaker. I always have nervous energy for some reason and standing on my beloved long board gets it out

Employer is saying no longboard. I said I would not skate or anything literally just stand. He was talking about liability and shit?? I was like I'll sign a waiver? Like I could fall out of a chair. I'm one with my board. I've been skating for over 15 years.

So what can I do? When I gave the longboard note to Wayfair 3 years ago they were just like okay. You have a note we need to listen.

This current employer is just like no.

I love them and don't want to cause a scene but like, I need this accommodation.

Tldr- I have a doctors note to stand on my longboard for my adhd and hip injury, work is saying no. What can I do?
