I started working for a company about a month ago. It seemed like it was going to be a great job for me. But then when a coworker had to go to a different state immediately for a family emergency, they asked if we could meet up and get something for the following day. This is something that isn't detrimental to the company and could be handed out the following week after emailing that it would be the following week they would receive it.
This company also doesn't trust it's employees to do their job but why should they when they don't train them either.
Owners also won't trust people with more responsibility and micromanage everything.
Sorry I had to vent. It's frustrating being a hard worker and this stuff
