Weight Loss Hacks for Working a Desk Job

Hi all, I wanted to share some quick tips I’ve found that helped me to lose 15lbs while working at my desk in the past month!! This is not meant to body shame anyone, but just hoping to share my experience to those looking to shed a few pounds! Step 1: Get an inexperienced manager with a very fragile ego and unrealistic expectations Step 2: Have that manager increase your workload on top of your day to day responsibilities because he thinks “it will be valuable experience” Step 3: Follow up with the manager and be told because you’re salary you are expected to work exactly 10hours 59min daily, 5 days a week (and sometimes weekend) to fall short of the company overtime policy at 11 hours. Step 1: Get an inexperienced manager with a very fragile ego and unrealistic expectations

Step 2: Have that manager increase your workload on top of your day to day responsibilities because he thinks “it will be valuable experience”

Step 3: Follow up with the manager and be told because you’re salary you are expected to work exactly 10hours 59min daily, 5 days a week (and sometimes weekend) to fall short of the company overtime policy at 11 hours.

Step 4: Be berated by your manager for not prioritizing his newest tasks while trying to playing catch up from a weeklong conference he sent you on

Step 5: Begin skipping lunches because there is no way to accomplish all your tasks even with the daily 10hrs59min

Step 6: Also start skipping breakfast and dinner because of the hour commute in each direction to get to your job on time for his expectations

Step 7: Ask for a hybrid/remote role like he has and be berated once again, forcing you to stick to this regimen!
