A friend of mine has worked at a mental health clinic while they go to school for psych. They need to do an internship for school so they are doing it for the same company they work for. When they accepted the internship they never mentioned that it would lower their hours at their current position and they are able to do their 40 and then do the internship. Now the boss wants to cut their hours saying it’s because of the internship and because of that they will loose their healthcare. Any one have any suggestions? Is their any legal recourse they can take?
