Just a little thought:
I was talking to our on-site IT guy yesterday and he was complaining that the processing manager (I work in mining) asked him to create an automotive data log program and now they won't even use it. IT guy said he believes it's because this cuts back work load by up to 5 hours a day. So a task that took the manager half a day every day is being removed. The manager would have to spend those new 5 hours actually doing something. But when everything is going well, a manager has little to manage. They are lacking real work skills so take up their time manually filling in a 6 sheet excel book. IT guy believes they are scared this type of automation will make them (management) redundant. I don't believe robots will ever take over 100% because the managers really have no skills, know this, and want to keep their jobs (and power).
