I had a place email me yesterday wanting to schedule an interview. I applied there THREE MONTHS AGO! To me it comes off as disrespectful. I don't know how companies expect to get quality candidates when it takes them several months just to schedule an interview. Where I work now, I applied Day 1, received a phone call to schedule an interview Day 2, and received an offer the day after the interview.
