She already works an average of 10 hours a day, sometimes she'll get a day she only works 4 or 5 hours. But a lot of days at 7am to 6:30pm.
The boss is forcing everyone to come in on a Sunday to “deep clean” the place. She won't augment the work week to allow for the deep cleaning during the week.
My girlfriend basically said no, I'm not coming in on the weekend because it's my only time off and is expected to always be off since that's what the job description said.
Boss replied that she was putting it off for awhile but still wants everyone to come in on a Sunday regardless of what anyone says or suggests.
On top of that, the boss is going to pay in cash for the extra 8 hours on the weekend.
