Vacation denied

Somewhat of a rant. Also might need advice. I’ve been in this role for a little over a year, and have quite honestly never worked harder in my life. The office has done a 180, things run more efficiently, and my boss has openly stated it’s because of me. I received an offer for a promotion in another department within my organization. It will be less stressful, more money, and everything roles over. I gave my 2 week notice Monday and told my boss I had already created several documents outlining procedures. Since that time my boss has slowly become more and more passive aggressive. I am being worked like a dog and the way she’s speaking to me via email, with others CC’d, has shocked me.
I decided that since my last two days are my birthday and finals (about to graduate with masters) I would request off. This is also at the behest of my team who says I am working too hard.
I sent my boss an email, more or less stating that I was taking those two days off, and that I would have everything wrapped up by then. Boss sent back a very lengthy email denying it and that my leaving is “putting her in a bind”. I was shocked.
This new job is quite literally one floor above her office. I told my new boss and her that even though I’ll be starting this other job it’s likely I will be helping her with questions after. It’s not like I’m leaving for good.
She would not look at or verbally speak to me the rest of the day. Her demands are getting more frequent and trivial. I considered contacting HR but am not sure if it’s worth it since I have a little over a week left.
Do I stick it out or fight back?
