Dear HR, when phone interviewing/screening a canadate, make sure your area is QUIET. Or at least take it off handsfree.

I had a brief phone screening today from what I thought was a direct hire position. 1st red flag: Called me from out of state. 2nd red flag: Did not identify that they were a staffing agency right off. Their job posting also did not identify the position was contract or temp to hire. 3rd red flag: Found out the pay wasn't even close to posted hourly wage 4th red flag : Interviewer was wayyy too excited about my qualifications. There was so much background noise during her call, I could hear the guy next to her talking to I presume a potential hire. It was extremely unprofessional and distracting. I ended up declining going further.

Aerotek is the company. If you see this name for a job listing, be aware. I'm sure the job was legit, but was curious why they had a PA office call me when they have an office near me within 30 miles of where I live.
