Why are we never taught about workplace character defamation or libel and what legal recourse employees have?
Weak leadership management and shitty HR at companies allowed toxic workplace to culture to multiply.
In retrospect I was the victim of character defamation and libel. The libel was written in black and white and it was escalated all the way up to the VP who not only did nothing but added onto the bully and harassment. That event caused me great emotional distress.
I wish I had been told that there could have been legal recourse for what I went through.
Edit: I am not talking “taught” as in school, but society to its workers in general.
