Tips for Working Efficiently for 4 Hours Instead of 8 as a Remote Programmer and Getting Away With It: What Kind of Company to Look For and How to Appear Efficient

Hey everyone, I'm currently on the lookout for a super relaxed full-time remote job (programming, frontend, React), and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on which type of company I should choose. I want to work super efficiently for 4 hours a day (sometimes 8+ hours depending on the situation/deadlines) without interruption and get away with it instead of working 8 hours, but still get everything done that I need to. So I'm looking for a company that is not super strict about it and kind of company that wouldn't even notice if I didn't work for a few months. It's an exaggeration, but shows the point perfectly. Also, I'm curious if anyone has any tips for making it look like you're being super efficient to your managers/people above you/your colleagues so that you're being noticed. Hey everyone,

I'm currently on the lookout for a super relaxed full-time remote job (programming, frontend, React), and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on which type of company I should choose.

Like, I've thought of completing tasks and moving them on your board in your tracking software, making commits often, being active during meetings and calls, and delivering work on time. Any other tips?

But I'm sure there are more tricks and tips out there that could help me appear like a super-efficient person to get promoted. So, what are your top tips for working efficiently and making it look like you're always on top of things?

Also, I'm curious about companies like Google. Are they strict about this stuff, or can you get away with working only 4 hours a day?

TL;DR: Looking for tips to appear like I'm working 12+ hours a day and contributing a lot, so that they want to promote me, but actually working 4 hours a day super efficiently. And what kind of companies should I look for

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and advice!
