Just quit my job and needed somewhere to vent. Me and all the other drivers at the company were running ridiculous hours. In at 4:30 AM and not off till 4-6 most days. Just enough time to get home and eat and shower and go to bed 5 days a week.
No personal time. No time for anything outside of work. Needed weekends to recover mentally. Running 5-6 hours of sleep a night if I wanted any time to decompress after work.
Shit is insane how people at companies are ok with employees doing this. Driving a 15 ton truck on no sleep for 12 hours a day is not safe.
How do people live with allowing others to live this way? Is this where we are as a society?
