Lately my mental health has gone down the tank and I coincidentally got sick a week ago and was out of work for 3 days. Now I will likely need at least 1 day off a week(medically excused) for the next 3-4 weeks while arranging for treatment. I am also out of sick leave because my job does not accrue sick leave during the first 90 days of employment(in violation of local law).
If it comes down to it, and I get fired for calling out (with proper 2+ hour notice) is this something I could claim unemployment benefits for?
