My supervisor sent me a request for a 1:1 meeting. The request was sent after I got off work yesterday & was added into my schedule (WFH) for this morning. I have no problem with that assuming I would receive critiques about my work since that's the only time I hear from supervisors. However, my supervisor didn't show up for the meeting… the meeting they requested. No heads up given. It honestly looks like my supervisor hasn't even gotten to work today (not active in teams or email) which isn't uncommon as their schedule seems to be pretty flexible, but I feel a bit disrespected. I know I could not dream of missing the meeting – so why can my supervisor? They require promptness out of us. I emailed my supervisor & have not heard back. This was all about 30 mins ago so there plenty of time to have them clear things up.
I'm curious though, how would you handle this?
