What do you think it will take for workers in the US to mobilize and go on strike for better wages? The minimum wage is a criminal $7.25 and has been that way for at least 10 years. We should strike based on that alone. No one can survive this way and even workers who get paid a decent living are complaining about how taken advantage of they are.
So what is it gonna take? I know we’re all afraid of “the man” but we’re the ones doing the work.
And what about unions? Why is everyone in the US so turned off by unions?
Even is someone set a significant date and time, would more people than not be brave enough to finally say enough is enough, our labor is precious and now we’re going to withhold it from you?
Why is the rest of the world willing and able to do this, but we’re not?
