I work as an optician and sliced my fingers open the other day pretty bad. Was told 3 days of very light duty were needed. Got 1 day off, next day I’ve been working fully with my boss not even checking to see how I’m doing. It’s a lot of work where dexterity is key and I’m struggling and already in pain just a few hours in. Nothing HEAVY per se, but I’m supposed to only lift up to a pound and be extra careful with that hand. On lunch now and debating just leaving entirely.
