If desk jobs are unhealthy, what are ways we can restructure the workplace to buffer the effects in the future?

Theoretically speaking, if workplace structure were to improve in the future, what would see change? Could we see an ergonomic setup become more mandatory as opposed to being something that an employer can provide by choice? At the moment my place of work does not have blue screens installed on their monitors and for some reason, only certain desks in our office have adjustable heights. What commonplace accommodations would we see? For the disabled or those that drive long distances? How soon do you think it will take before 4 days a week becomes the maximum amount of days to work across the US?
