I got put on a new project which has an upcoming go live in the next few weeks. The thing is, I had vacation planned for 4 of those days before I joined the project. I told the person supervising me that I took a personal day on one of those days but haven't explained more details to him What excuse can you think of if I'm asked about what I'm doing on my personal day that wouldn't make upper management question me further and attempt to make me skip my personal day to work?
