I work at an undisclosed restaurant, every 6 months I was given a raise of 25 cents, however when minimum wage in my state went to $15.75 an hour so did my pay, my previous raises had no effect on my new pay?
Surely this has to be illegal right, Can I get back pay?
What if they refuse to compensate my wages lost?
I live in WA state if that’s of any importance
In the end it’s only 60 cents for every hour since January 1st, but still that’s MY money and those fuckers have it.
