Antiwork

I just quit a well paying job because I couldn’t handle it.

I don’t know if this belongs here but I don’t know where else to post it. I took a job at a craft truck for an Apple TV series filming in my area (won’t say what show for fear of lawsuit). They started my shift at 3am and I didn’t clock out until 10pm. I don’t know how craft works in other places but it was hell on wheels for the entire day. I thought I could stick it out because I’m young and generally have good stamina for long hours, but 4 days in and I’m somehow half numb and half in horrible pain. Not just physically, but mentally as well. I can’t keep up with the demands. The only reason I feel guilty about quitting is the great money (26/hr). I have mad respect for anyone who does this for a career because this is hell.
