Just a peeve i wanna make sure people are informed of, ive worked in a lot of retail jobs with a lot of focus on “labor percent”. Management and a lot of coworkers love praising a low percent, even down to the single digits.
The labor % is what percentage of profits the workers are getting. As a laborer you should be wanting the opposite, a higher percent is a bigger share of the profits. Remind your coworkers it is literally the money they make.
Its especially bad here in the south, workers so brainwashed theyll work for free in an effort to lower the number. Or worry about what a pay raise will do to that number.
