Someone complained about me to management for not announcing to the world when I go on my break??? And management agreed with them enough to bring it to my attention instead of telling them to stfu.
The thing is:

No one tells me anything about anything including when THEY go on break.

Most days, I work right next to my supervisor and I don’t tell her I’m going on my break either. I KNOW she isn’t the one complaining about me.

When my supervisor isn’t there, I usually make a big show of leaving so it’s obvious I’m going on my break. Eg. I wiggle my car keys, grab my water bottle and bag etc looool. ONE DAY I’m like wtf why am I doing all this bs when they don’t extend any curtesy to me?? Just one fcking time I left without them noticing and they immediately complained to upper management??? What in the actual fck??
One other thing they complained about is that I use my phone. And yes, you guessed it. EVERYONE uses their phone too. Im not sure why I’m being singled out.
I just need help responding without directly saying “I’m just doing what everyone does.” Also, would it be crazy to bring up that my if supervisor has no complaints about me, then the b*tching and moaning of these fckers are irrelevant??
