I saw a notebook in the breakroom while I was making food. Flipped through, nothing identifying and only 2 or 3 pages filled. But this person had a budget written out. They make 72k, and have to write a budget out to tackle their credit card debt. They pay 450 dollars for rent.
These are the people saying we spend frivoulously. The ones who can't make a 450 dollar rent.
Me and a younger coworker were talking last week about what a gut punch it is when your paycheck is less than your mortgage. The older generation will never experience that.
