You see an ad, “Now hiring drivers” and then you are told when “hired” that you are a contractor. I get why they would do this, classify you as a contractor, but how? They can now pay me below minimum wage, no Stat Holidays or OT etc. I thought, what a great idea, ANY place I work I am going to get hired on as a contractor because then I would pay less in tax AND could write off lots of everyday work expenses. I contacted the Gov and they said you are not considered a contractor if you are solely working for one company. Huh. Again, how the f$#k does Domino's get away with this?? Can ANYONE explain this to me like I'm a 5 year old. Clearly it is f#$kig BS!
