I work factories and like most factories the break room is a several minute walk from my station. 3 minutes each way. Recently had someone ask me why my breaks were 21 minutes. I told them my break starts when I get to the breakroom. We get 2 15 min breaks and a unpaid lunch. They really thought they were going to be able to take 12 mins a day away from me more than an hour a week from my break leaving me with 9 min breaks. I brought up how when I clock out for lunch I have to walk up to the time clock before I clock out and they backed off of me. However I see several coworkers take their 9 min breaks and shovel food down because they only have 9 mins to sit and snack. Sad more people don't put their foot down with bs like this.
