Gave my job almost four weeks notice. Last night was my last shift. Stopped to tell like three people bye, the few people I cared about enough to say bye to. Saw the plant manager hovering around me the whole time.
Just before lunch I was told one of the people I said bye to got in trouble for talking too much. Confirmed it was because I took about one whole minute to say bye.
Boss wouldn't say anything to me about it. Would have been an entirely different story at that point. Or if the people who he was telling off weren't some of the hardest working people in that place. But yeah, at that point fuck it. The last three hours just aren't worth it. Leaving on good terms just isn't worth it.
