He's has been allowing workers to come in after hours and work over time unpaid because the deadlines they've been setting are legitimately not possible to meet w/o extra hours. And the very “we're a family we get shit done” dynamic has lead a lot of senior employees to do it out of obligation for the customers (who don't set the deadlines).
It's cool, he also asked for $100 per employee because he wanted to rent a fancy bus for the Christmas party transportation no one asked for after buying a limited edition Corvette for god knows how much money. Real cool guy!
