Told the new owner he’s doing it wrong.

About two years ago the company I have worked for for 17 years was sold to new investors. It has been a huge sh*t show ever since. Today I told the boss in email that he is sacrificing the companies reputation just to make the sale. Actually, the email started out about a large job coming up in a few days that the designer was way behind on and missed all the deadlines. I'm the one that has to convert the designs into workable plans for production. I said this job should be postponed due to all the missed deadlines and last minute changes that were substantial. The owner replies that he made the decision to go ahead with the install because he was afraid of losing the client if it had to be moved to August. I just hope that we don't start losing clients because we look incompetent rather than being in high demand.” Problem is that I already know the company is bleeding because of this very kind of thing. I'll see if there is a response in the morning. The funny thing is, I sit next to the install manager who has to talk to all the pissed off clients. So, I hear a LOT of things and I think this company is headed for disaster if they don't change their approach and actually start following the companies own guidelines. I like what I do, and I've put many years into helping this company succeed, but I just don't think I want to be a part of it anymore with all that's going on. Morale, as you would expect, is non existent and tempers are short.
