So, I'm about to graduate college. It's a degree in math. This is part rant in part looking for advice.
As a child, my parents told me that I would be a complete failure in life if I did not go to school and get a degree. So I did so and now I have crippling about debt, anxiety, and I hate everyone and everything.
I did not specialize in anything, but I can do some fancy math. Everything I can find online with a math degree requires you to be able to program, I can't do that. I don't have the time, energy, or funds to receive more education.
My father seems convinced that all I have to do is invoke his name, and Amazon will give me a data analysis role, but I have no idea who he thinks he is cuz that seems completely asinine.
As somebody who has mostly worked security type roles for the last decade, I need some advice on what I can consider myself qualified to do.
I would also appreciate some insight on the why my dad thinks I am worth $300,000 per year, cuz that seems completely deranged.
