Tired of unreasonable and unattainable production goals.

I know this is something we all end up dealing with but man is it exhausting. It’s gotten to the point where I’m running my department to the point of exhaustion and I’m taking on a lot of work to keep off their shoulders. Then my boss sees us finish our monthly work “with no issue” and adds more to the pile. It’s never ending; the work load keeps going up and our salaries remain the same. I’m trying to shield my subordinates from the brunt of it but the added stress already put me in the hospital this year. I had a serious breakdown while trying to help keep up our production goals. I’m not even sure what to do now.
