Feeling like a failure for leaving after one day

For two and a half years, I worked at a fast food job. It was fine, but overtime I slowly realized about my body, that my bunions were worsening. I am 21 and have had them since I was a kid. I found out from the doctor when I had surgery a year ago that my bunions have affect everything, the way I walk, knee pain, foot swelling, etc. Even with proper shoes and many at home treatments I tried, pain was awful that I eventually needed surgery. I left the job (mostly for other reasons, but a big one was definitely the physical labor killing my legs and feet). I left the job (mostly for other reasons, but a big one was definitely the physical labor killing my legs and feet). It’s been over a year and I thought I could go to trade school to work in a kitchen because I thought I could go back into it. Well, first day and already the same pain. Right now my knees are swollen and I have a massive headache, they were on fire and very red yesterday and back pain all day. I was standing kitchen for 8 hours, which I know is normal but..I’m feeling bad that I can probably never have a job doing physical labor and will probably resort to office work. I don’t mind it really I guess, but I’m feeling like a failure that my body is giving up so quickly and the disappointment of my family who were excited for me to go back and do something, plus the people at the trade school who helped us. It’s only been a day so I have the option of dropping without paying thankfully but…basically I just feel really bad for quitting so early on, my body hurts and I’m feeling like a failure.
