Tomorrow will be my first interview for a new job ever since the pandemic.
For context, I have a job. And I hate it. The toxicity, the communication problems, let's say my job is the reason I'm here with ya folks.
And tomorrow I have an interview for a new job that is a contract of one year. Meaning even if it's hell as it is here, I can get unemployment checks even if I don't find a new gig immediately.
None of this matters. All that matters is me leaving this fuckhole of a job for good. I hope it goes well and that I'm selected. For the first time in years, I've been zealous and researched my future-maybe-new-workplace to learn as much as possible.
It's nice to be motivated when doing something for your profession. I've missed it without realising it.
