I'm in my mid 20s. Went back to college and started looking for “summer jobs” before I go back to school.
To my findings, there are full time 40-50 year olds working min wage retail jobs. (grocery stores, clothing, hardware etc)
I call and send in application to 20+ retail stores. Never hear back. Yet the job market is “red hot”. WTH.
I thought retail was once easy to get teenage jobs for a quick buck. I guess nothing is easy these days.
