(United States post) I applied for triple-digits number of jobs in the last 4 months (unemployed) and tons of them require a LinkedIn link. Non-optional.
LI insists on having your headshot, and a lack of headshot is considered strange there. It's going to indicate gender, race, age, at a glance, or at least allow the hiring manager to make assumptions about these things.
Considering anti-discrimination hiring laws, how is this requirement not illegal?
