I never thought I would see the day that a fast food restaurant would offer that much money, not in my lifetime at least. And I think it's awesome that they're offering such a high amount over minimum wage.
But back when I was working 9:00 to 5:00, over the course of a healthcare career that spanned over a decade and included a stint in managing a practice, I never even made close to that. I regret working so hard for all that time, and the stress, anxiety, insomnia, and ulcer than I got from doing it.
It gave me some hope for the future but also made me feel very bitter.
