Upper management in their obsession to make sure that nobody is “slacking off” wants our department to make a list at the end of the day of everything we worked on and give them 8 hours of work.
It’s insulting and degrading because they indirectly are telling us that we are lazy , is insulting because I don’t have to explain my work, specially when our schedule adherence is extremely high and we tend to complete all our required tasks . But yet they complain and say that we take too many breaks , talk too much , or simply we are not fast enough .
I don’t think is their business what we do as long as we deliver results and following the required procedures. This is just some micro management crap because their whole thing is to make their employees lives miserable
