I have had an issue with a coworker for around a year since I started working at this place. She initially was training me and I was told going into this job that she is a known issue in the workplace. I was being pushed around to do work she didn't know how to do or want to do. She has a coworker whom I also work with who essentially picks her side and follows her everywhere. She has tried getting access to my medical information when I tested for Covid.
I have talked to two shift admins, HR, my union rep, and union president in multiple meetings. All have been met with “Oh it is just a personality conflict” or “We're looking into it and we'll let you know what comes of it”. I have been given opportunities to cross-train in other departments, which is voluntary. Each time I have inquired about that opportunity I was told new hires are being brought in and that I should wait a couple more months. I was told it would be unreliable for me to cross-train as my attendance was poor. (Mind you we get 4 sick days and 4 vacation days a year and missed one day in the two months I was told to “try and stick it out”).
This has been a constant cycle since I started. My performance, attendance, and mental health have dwindled since starting here which I have very openly stated on multiple occasions with everyone. I am at a loss as it has been months that this has been going on. What would be the best solution other than finding a new job?
