I don't know what to do with myself. I'm a contractor in Big Tech, and my position is getting cut due to budget cuts. I will remain employed until the end of the month.
People who have been in a similar place or know a thing or 2 about coping… How do I cope here? I can't say I didn't see this as a possibility, but I am processing it or trying to process it.
I'm sorry if this isn't really the right place. The description said to include job related woes, and that's certainly what it is. Just anyone who has thoughts or ideas on this is appreciated, honestly. I've never been laid off before, and I really don't know what to do besides cry, stare at my phone and lay on the floor, and text people saying I will soon be unemployed.
