Basically that. I wasn’t happy with a post Covid policy the company where I work has and my boss told me to work hard and get a promotion if I don’t like it (the next level doesn’t have to do it).
So I went out and got myself a remote job making 43% more that definitely doesn’t have to do that task.
Quitting on April Fools is sort of poetic.
Edit: Where I work asked you to leave once you give notice and they pay you for those 2 weeks.
