I’m a former SM for DG I can I have never been treated the way I was while I was pregnant at DG.

I wanted to share my story but am still employed with DG and afraid of being terminated given the time I’ve put in with DG I I’ve worked dollar general for almost 6 years. I just stepped down as store manager when I had my first child. I’ve experienced a lot in my time with the company but the time during my pregnancy was the absolute worst. And I worked up until the week I gave birth. Earlyish in my pregnancy there was snow and ice on the road and I slid into a ditch on my way to open my store after all of my team had called out due to road conditions I had to send a picture of my car in the ditch to my dm and told me once I got it towed out to get to my store as soon as possible and open when I arrived the power was out I was told “we don’t close for power outages” and was told to open the doors write down the sku numbers and calculate the tax. And to type it in after the power came on or the next day. Alone in the cold dark store. I was forced to work at another store for a remodel after the shift at my own store and it was 45 min away About 6 months in my store had a covid outbreak. Me and one other team member wasn’t sick. I did not receive any help from sister stores as they were short staffed I was forced to work open to close everyday for alm
ost month. I had no days off due to illness for almost 2. I got covid shortly after about 8 months in I had to fight with payroll to be paid for my time off with covid. I asked for extra labor hours because I was have trouble working trucks and doing planograms explaining I was having a hard time and just wasn’t moving as fast in the late stages of my pregnancy I was told I could go on leave early but wouldn’t receive any special treatment this was 8-9 months. Finally I’m on leave. My Dm is messaging me while In labor 3 weeks before I’m due back to work I’ve decided to put in a 2 weeks and had made arrangements to actually work a 2 week out so they really had over a month to find a replacement. Was begged to just step down until the transition. I did. I’ve been treated so badly by the SM and now have a new DM and have been threatened to be put in as Non re-hireable if I quit and have refused my 2 week notice. Even before I was an SM I was sexually harassed by a vendor and my manager and DM said “well did you tell him you don’t want him to talk to you like that”. And it wasn’t just a little flirting it was absolutely foul and even embarrassing to repeat among so many other things.
