Interesting Email From Owner

I just got an email from the owner of our company clarifying days off for the 4th. Since July 4th falls on a Tuesday, we are supposed to work on Monday. The email says if anyone wants a 4 day weekend, they can put in pto or take an unpaid day. No issues there. The funky part is if the clinical director and office administrator both take off Monday, that suite will be closed and EVERYONE has to put in pto or take an unpaid day…..huh??? Both of these individuals have been absent before and we never closed the suite. Makes no sense…Your thoughts?
